Right, looked at the clock and thought...eeeek forgot to start dinner.
So looked in the cupboard for something easy.
Pasta, good Corned beef...yup and a jar of ragu (for emergency purposes)
cooked pasta, put into pyrex dish, sliced corned beef, laid ontop of pasta, covered with ragu. Bunged in the oven..... so far so good.
there you are, store cupboard pasta and corned donk.
(does anyone else call it corned donk, or is it something just wierd to my family???????????????)

My brother in law calls it corned dog, but never heard of donk before0

donk as in donkey??
We always called potted beef 'potted dog'!0 -
Thats a frequent one in this house - do things "properly" sometimes and other times well......
This is one of those oh well....... days. So storecupboard has provided pasta - cooked up and then with some tomatoes and red pesto stirred in and some Parmesan cheese grated on top. Well - thats my stomach full anyway.0 -
