Thank you KC, yes very tired and enjoyable. I think I had to see it written down to appreciate how much was crammed in.
Went to Sains on way home tonight to get a few bits to hopefully see us through until next week. I'm getting incredibly excited that I have a week off next week :j0 -
Half way through the week, what a scorcher! I hope it's like this next week when I'm not working.
Interest paid on 123 account £23.42, added to savings total. First day on the job for DD2 yesterday, she seems to be enjoying it but I had to get some new shoes for her last night as none of the ones she has are suitable. Hadn't planned on that expense! I'm looking at it as an investment.0 -
Quite right ETE, something I heard that I liked was "dress for the job you want, not the i one you have".0

I'm back!!
Well my week off is now over, I feel like I could do with another week off, but that will have to wait until some other time.
Now what needs to get done first...?
I will check my accounts and sweep into savings anything that was left over at the end of yesterday and work out end of July totals.0 -
Post the details on here
Hope you had a lovely holiday2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Here we go - end of July figures
Mortgage (aim 0): £0/£9,400 (100%)
Savings (aim £30,000): £4741.39/£6,000 (79%)
Holiday was great, I refused to do anything that was work/home/mse related, lots of walks, rides and visiting places plus a bit of catching up with family and friends. Just a shame it wasn't a bit longer! Work was a struggle today.
Looks like my transfers for the Hali reward went wrong, as it wasn't showing in the account until today, so it looks like there was no money going in during July as the date fell over the weekendmay have to set up a shuffle mid month too to ensure it happens for the reward.
I have a list as long as your arm now after having a week off, I think I will do the shopping first so at least we can eat0 -
Meal plan planned and shopping ordered to come today. Also activated the vouchers on sainsburys website that I didn't realise was there before. This should get me a few more nectar points too.
£33.19 ISA interest to start off August's savings has been added.
Cinema vouchers for the Lloyds account have now arrived too, so looking forward to some cinema trips at some point.0
