Got my cheque today. I don't know why people get so over wrought about waiting 10 working days. After all, big businesses have other companies to do their mail for them and imagine how many they must be processing! I'm sure they all have to get passed for approval by the accounts dept. Mine was postmarked 18th and arrived next day.Minimalist

In the past couple of years Populus have introduced a checking mechanism whereby you're randomly given a "test" question which advises you which box to click. If you inadvertently click the wrong box, you'll get thrown out of the survey immediately. It's supposed to ensure you maintain concentration and, fair enough, they do warn you of this at the start of the survey. However, we are all human beings who sometimes make genuine mistakes, and it seems a bit harsh when, as happened to me today, you complete almost 75% of a lengthy survey, only to have all the time and effort negated by the keyboard equivalent of a "slip of the pen". Have lost £5 as a result.:( It would seem fairer to at least reward you pro-rata for the part of the survey completed. Who's to say they won't use the info that you've input already? I'd urge all Forumites using Populus Live to watch out for this, and exercise care to avoid falling into the same trap.
I agree, I think them and Newvista are WAY too harsh. They could just give you one chance to correct the mistake. I got kicked out of a Newvista one yesterday for such a tiny mistake at the end, when I accidentally clicked the wrong age and gender combination. It was late, I'd been completing the darn thing for a good 20 mins and I think they could be kinder. I've had it before over a supposed postcode typo too and I know I typed it correctly! :SMinimalist

Did anyone do a survey yesterday that said £3 for 15 minutes, but it took about 40 minutes?0

I used to get the occasional survey invite from Populus Live and my points are on 43 but I haven't had an invite since October 2017. Does anyone know if I could I just not be part of the demographic or could there be any other reason why I've seemingly been stopped from taking any more surveys? I do a lot of other survey sites and was concerned I'd joined a sister site and negated my membership with Populus.0

Just a quick note. The online survey sites list notes that populus doesn't give many surveys. I REGULARLY get at least 2 surveys per week. More often than not I get upwards of 5 surveys per week. Very very rarely does a week go by where I don't get a survey. Also being screened out is a rare occurrence for myself.0

My AVERAGE is 1-2 SURVEYS per WEEK.

This is my favourite survey site by some distance, it works out at a payment every 3 months, sometimes a bit quicker.0
