Loans with deferred repayment date?
Has anyone come across a loan that will allow you to pay it off in a single payment at an agreed date? I am selling my house which has 75% equity and want to buy a smaller property in the UK as well as a smalholding in Portugal. Unfortunately I need to buy the Portugal property soon or I will lose it so I want a loan for £50K that I can pay off when the house sells. If anyone has any names for me I would be grateful!

Might be a big ask for a loan of 50k, why not sell the current house and rent somewhere while you buy a place over here and buy the place in Portugal.0

You can look at a bridging loan, but the rates are generally high as they are designed to be only used over a short term.0

Putting the house through auction would probably work out cheaper, quicker and less painful/stressful than a bridging loan.0
