in Cutting tax
I wonder if someone can help. My husband bought his van as a sole trader and claims for the fuel, insurance, tax etc through his SA as it's solely used for business.
Later this year, the intention is to get a new van which will then be used for dual purposes (we are selling our private vehicle too). Is it possible to switch to mileage claim with the purchase of the new van? I read that it's not possible to switch, but I wonder if that means on the same vehicle? If we have a new vehicle is it different?
Any help appreciated.

You can't switch for a particular vehicle, but you can switch when you change your vehicle.0
