Advice please - help to buy a second home for brother

Hi all, after some advice please. We have a joint mortgage of approx 160k left on a home worth about 500k. I want to help my brother and sister-in-law get on the property ladder. They can get a mortgage for about 175k but to buy a flat where they live will cost approx 300k. So I am happy to part-own their new flat and go in with them so would own and pay approx. a third of the mortgage. Not sure the best way to go about this. Have a meeting set up with various lenders but any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
