IVA discharged and letter from Capquest

Hi all, not sure if this is in the right place so of not feel free to move it.
Just got home from work to a letter from Capquest demanding £1500 plus. Apparently this is for Santander.
We have just had the documents through from the IVA company saying that we are all completed after around 8 years.
We haven't been with Santander since before the IVA started as we were advised to change banks and go for a basic bank account.
What should I do with this letter?
Thanks in advance, Michelle x

Thanks for your reply

The thing is I know that the Santander (abbey at the time) loan and overdraft I had were covered under the IVA which actually completed in August 2014 and got the paperwork through end of last year. I just don't know what to do for the best. I have googled about Capquest and seen posts saying that they have harassed people over debts that they don't actually owe.0 -
Ah. I thought you meant it was something that hadn't been in the IVA paperwork.
Send them a copy of what IVA paperwork you have that confirms/proves it, making a formal complaint that they are chasing a debt that is covered by the completed IVA. That unless they desist you will be taking the matter as a complaint to the FOS, and reporting them to the FCA.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
