basic bank account - please advise

My partner and myself want to open a basic bank account with either NatWest, Halifax or Nationwide (simply because they're closest). I just want to check beforehand if any of these has any financial associations/ownership of any of our creditors

Barclaycard
Marks and Spencer Money
Virgin Money
Santander
Capital One

I did a quick check and I don't think so but just want to double check with you all.

thanks :)
