Messy BR due to unforeseen circumstances with X wife Still on the mortgage HELP!!

Hi
I have been BR before and although I have looked after my finances very well I now find that due to a court case I was involved in along with a LTD company (not mine which has now ceased to trade) that I have had a second change put on my house.. As this company wanted to get their pound of flesh and 5 figure costs back from someone..
This has not worried me to be fair BUT the company that did this have now pursued and force the sale of my house.. The issue being there is not the collateral to pay off the second charge, which they will be fully aware of...

I was not made aware of them doing this until a few days ago and the hearing is next month and now at the final stage to force the sale.... Can they do this?
Should I not have been made aware from the court and the company by recorded delivery....
Where do I stand with going BR again (Not that I want to) to make this go away as my X Wife is still on the mortgage ( In the divorce the house was passed to me with the understanding that I remove my X or sell the property this year by August. As we have a clean break order will she be effected if I go BR again to get out of the mess.. Whilst her name still on the mortgage.)
What's happens if I put the house on the market prior to this company getting an order to force the sale.
As they can not recover the money to cover the second charge they will inevitably come after me personal for the money forcing me to go BR again... Is this right that a company with deep pockets can force someone to basically be totally homeless and financial on their backside!!!!
I do have a daughter who resides with me from time to time does this help my cause..
Is there any human rights angle I can use or Quote when I reply to the court..
Should I return the mail from the court and the company involved stating "no longer at this address or not know at this address"...
X also lives out of the UK, Can the court hearing to force the sale go ahead without her knowledge... She does not now and I don't see that its my pale to tell her, as its also illegal to open someone else's mail.
