Endowment Complaint rejected - legitimate?

Hi,
I recently submitted a missold endowment complaint on a policy with Norwich Union. They have rejected it - the grounds for rejection are that I previously complained about this policy (two years ago) and then failed to return their fact-finding questionnaire.
I know that I have grounds for complaint, as they have already upheld my complaint on another policy and offered compensation. Can they legitimately reject this new complaint on the basis of this technicality?
Thanks,
Gareth

Yes they can. Unless you have justification for the length of delay then you cannot pursue it further. Justification would be if you had been in hospital or out of the country and unable to respond.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Since they have now got around to rejecting your complaint, take it to the Ombudsman. You must do this within 6 months of receiving the rejection letter.Trying to keep it simple...
