Hi there
I'm looking at signing up to this to help me with training and diet, as it is prescribed 'for you'. I just wonder how economical the food side of things might be? Keen to see if anybody on here is doing this plan
Thanks

Hi
As I don't know your dietary needs i cant comment on how much it would cost for you. I am a meat eater with a fast metabolism. Most of my dinners involved meat and fresh veg. Some of the dinners were quite pricey using fresh chicken or turkey. One of the meals that used 250g of mince for one serving. However some meals such as omelettes were cheap and quick. I didn't follow the diet to the letter as some things were a bit faffy. I did make sure that if I didn't eat from the plan that it was healthy.
You aren't restricted to a set meal you could have any non carb meal if you hadn't worked out and a meal with carbs if you did.
I do spend more on food now but I get my meat from the butchers and veg from Aldi(other supermarkets are available). I have only done cycle one though
Hope this helps.Do I really need it? Probably not.:A0 -
My plan typically had a meal with 2 salmon fillets or chicken breasts, lots of green veg too. You do save on cutting out sweet snacks, crisps, takeouts, etc. Don't bother with the supplements, they're not essential to loss, although the protein powder is needed for post workout shakes, snacks and in the pancakes.
You don't need a gym for the exercise, it is all possible to do at home so you save there too.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
I've done it...
Depends where you do your supermarket shopping, a lot of people have found their grocery bill increases, however if you are an ALDI fan then you might not notice a lot of difference.
There are a couple of unofficial 90 Day SSS Facebook groups... request to join them and then ask the question there. HTH0 -
I have been looking at this and I am really tempted.
I suppose my biggest concern is what else I might need to buy? So far, someone has mentioned protein shake powder. Are there any other costs? like weights for the second cycle? Are taking supplements part of the diet?
I'd be really keen to hear from anyone with pointers if you suffer from IBS or something like fibro?"The best things in life are free"

Another topic was started above this about the same thing, really interesting stuff as people seem to actually do quite well, a few people at work are doing it and i'm keeping a keen eye on their results!0
