Have we got our Mortgage?

Hi, we are borrowing from Lloyds Bank for our mortgage. We passed the credit check (via the underwriter, as I had a Notice of Correction they wanted to look at). We also passed the financial check. This is now pending a valuation (which shouldn't be an issue).
Does this mean (pending the valuation being positive) that we have finally cracked it? I'm so used to a 'No' that this just seems to good to me true!
Any constructive/knowledgeable comments appreciated, Thanks.

No it doesn't. You've 'cracked it' when you see the formal mortgage offer.I am a Mortgage Broker

Hi - so at what point do you get the formal offer in writing?
We have another meeting in a week to organise the valuation viewing, and to give the lender our solicitor/conveyance details.
Sounds pretty tied up to me?0 -

Don't get ahead of yourself. You will get the offer when you get it in your hand."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
