Debt collection calls to daughter

My teenage daughter keeps getting phone calls from a debt collection company-I spoke to them last time they called and they said her mobile number had been listed by a lady when she was applying for credit, I explained that my daughter is young and not this person and asked them not to ring her again, which they haven't done. But she continues to get random calls from various companies looking for this woman. Anything we can do about this? Have googled this woman's name-it isn't a common name-but it could be one of several people on facebook etc.

Ring the phone company and ask them to change her number.0

Good advice above, or just get another sim card.
Mobile and landline numbers get recycled all the time, or her number may of been plucked out of thin air totally randomly, either way, the network will change the number free of charge if its a contract sim.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
