Omnipage 16/Paperport & PDF Creator for 99 Euros!

Hi, Im not sure if this is is just a error but yesterday I managed to buy the latest version of Omnipage and got Paperport and PDF Creator 4 thrown in for Free at 99 Euros.

On the Official website the software is sold at £289 http://www.nuance.co.uk/ but I was looking on Google and there is a google adwords advert that states omnipage 16 for 99 Euros. When clicked it takes you straight through to the payment page and charges you just the 99 Euros what I think is around £70? Go to google and just put "omnipage" as the search. There advert should be at the top of the page and read.

OmniPage 16 Official Site https://www.OmniPage.co.uk €99 new release offer until Sept 30 on professional ocr software.

If you buy these products seperatley they would cost you over £375 I believe so this is a bargain. I think its a error somehow and dont know how long it will be there for. I registered mine and contacted support to check my licence was kosher and they said yes. This is excellent software and I highly recommend it! :D

I'm not sure why you think Paperport and PDF creator are a special offer - they seem to be standard features (looking on the awful website, with several Private Eyes'-worth of "Solutions"). (PDF creation is easy using many open-source packages by the way.)

If Omnipage and Paperport are included at that price then it is a bargain. I've used paperport for years and it's paid for itself many times over, most recently by totting up all my bank interest payments to collect the tax back.

I Understand that there are open source alternatives available to create PDF files but unless you have actually used paperport its hard to explaim how good this software is. It is a way of having a complete paperless office as it will not only create pdf files but will index them.

Also what you are actually pay for is the Omnipage 16 pro what is the worlds leading OCR product. This is the product that sells at £289 so for the price it is a bargain

As the other poster replied I have used Paperport for many years and at this price will continue for many moreyears to come ;)

  • this offer is probably for the standard version (£70) not the PRO version (more expensive)
