Tesco voucher question

Options
Assume I have £20 in vouches and the goldsmiths offer 3x your voucher worth so I'd get £60 to spend. If I buy something for £60, can I be sneaky and return a few days later for £60 cash? Or will they only allow me to exchange the item for another £60 item?

Normally a refund is via whatever method you paid with so I would assume in this case they would refund you in Goldsmith's vouchers rather than cash
    Mortgage received 21/12/2018

    Current mortgage - £260,276

I agree with buzzyjoe, you won't get £60 in cash, you will get it in the form of gift vouchers or a gift card for goldsmiths

Of course. These days 99% of places allow you to exchange something simply if you change your mind about the purchase. As long as it's not opened and been used.

Legally no, but the vast majority of stores will do it out of goodwill

Doesnt mean they have to - As I said you are not legally entitled to a refund/exchange

Goldsmiths will, also, only let you use the vouchers for items that are not reduced or in a special offer. This is why I didn't buy from them,in the days of quadruple value,as the ring I really liked had a 20% reduction, so was not eligible for the offer (This being confirmed by the sales person in our local store).
