Rossendales Baliff

Hi...I had a Rossendales bailiff come to my house looking for my daughter, I took a photo of the letter and sent it, it is for an unpaid parking fine on the roadside in Sheffield. She rang them and they upset her by insisting that she pay £105 weekly for 4 weeks, she cannot afford this.. She has previously sent them an income expenditure form which they told her that she had completed incorrectly (it is on their system) and they would send a further one out. This never arrived, instead a Baliff did.....I am assuming she has some rights here...she is willing to pay, but not on the plan they suggest....HELP.

Hi,
Simply tell them what you intend to do, don't seek there approval, put the offer in writing to them, and start paying it.
Bayliffs are notoriously uncooperative getting into protracted conversation with them is pointless.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi, thanks for this, I am assuming they will not add any further charges on, as they have already escalated the amount owed. 0

What fees have they added?
You should have some compliance and enforcement fees.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I am assuming so, as I said this is not my debt. I believe the original fine was around £80..... It escalated to over £4000

Compliance fee £75
enforcement fee £235
shouldn't be over £400 even if there is a £7 court fee in there somewhere
...unless the fine increased to £120 when the Charge Certificate was issued - then the total would be £4370
