I found this website http://www.henandhammock.co.uk/HelpingTheEnvironment/index.asp?id=266
which suggests that you can make your own portable BBQ.
Has anyone done this?
Are biscuit tins sturdy/fireproof enough to try it?
I am camping this weekend and would love to give it a go.
Thank you

Hi Bribri,
I should imagine it would be fine. Jamie Oliver made one on his TV show the other day - he used a baking tin with a cake rack. He also added leaves to his coals (such as bayleaf etc) to infuse the food with flavour & covered the food with a pyrex dish to use it as a steamer.

An old baking tin, of course why not?
Did he just put it on bricks?
I can't wait so much better than disposables.0
