I have 2 x 2.4kW oil rads connected to my immerSUN. Only good of course on good days at this time of year but as Mart says oil rads get too hot for their own thermostat and turn off for a while. With two connected to spare outputs on the immerSUN (they have 3 outputs) you can always have one rad swallowing whatever leccy is available.

However, I think the best option would be a storage heater unless you are home all day. Why? Because oil rads and all other options cool down quickly once the sun goes down but a with a storage heater you could set it to take whatever your diverter has to offer during the day and to pump it out again at night. Only trouble is, they are pricey and not that pleasing on the eye, so to placate Mrs Pinnks I opted for the cheaper option. I think my rads were about £45 each.

If you are running them on a diverter make sure they are bottom of the range with no fancy electronics as the proportional feed will cause havoc with that.

I don't have any fancy diverter, but if it's cold and sunny I will leave an oil filled radiator on low.

I use the oil filled heater because it doesn't get that hot on the outside. I'm happy to leave it on for hours, even if I'm out of the house. I had it on a timer for 3 days this week so it was on during the day.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
