Tesco Wine discount

Bought 6 bottles of wine and there's no 5% discount. CS said that they only do it from time to time. Anyone know whether this is right. Also, manager was reducing some wines and told me that he couldn't sell a particular one as it came up as being reduced to £2.00 and he wasn't allowed to sell it at that price. when asked what was happening to them - he said he'd give them to the staff!! (Yes, manager)

The 5% permanent discount stopped 3 years ago and the CS is right that its done as and when now.
