hi, I am currently at college doing a full time access course so I can start a degree in September, I have my own Handyman business which is on the decline since I started college, I live with my fianc! and her 14 year old daughter, my fianc! is currently in her second year of her degree, given that we are struggling quite a bit with money at the moment, can anyone tell me where we will stand when i start uni, or is there anything else we could claim, my fianc! still receives the full amount of student finance available and I claim tax credits
thanks
Marc

When you start in sept you will only get a student loan not maintenance grant although it should add upto the same amount just means its all a loan.
Student finance have a web site that will work it out for you.0
