Dmp new job

Options
Hi all. I have been on a dmp for just over two years. I have an interview tomorrow for a new job and am worried in case they do a credit check. Would they immediately turn me down. Thanks for any advice

Well unless you applied for a job with a bank or financial institution, I don't know many businesses that would credit check a candidate.

    Hi,

Depends who the employers are, and what kind of credit check they intend to do.
If it were similar to a landlords credit check, they can only access public information about you.

If it's a financial services job, they may be able to run a full check on you, but to comply with data protection laws, only with your permission.

A DMP. Isn't a regulated agreement so the only info on your file could/would be defaults and/or arrangement to pay markers, not the end of the world.
