It tells you what the WILL do, if you don't do x y and z.

You didn't comply, so seems pretty unarguable to me.

Arrow will probably still argue, but it's in their nature to be awkward 'bleeps'.

  • Hi, just to update this thread.

Arrow are point blank refusing to acknowledge that the original account was defaulted. The very fact the origina shop directl account is no longer showing on my credit file suggests that it was defaulted over 6 years ago ( it was never settled either , and it should show for 6 years from settled date of not defaulted?) Arrow are reporting from 2012 when they took it over, if that was the 'settled' date for the original shop direct account then surely it should still be showing/ visible on my file.

I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall, but I know I am right and this is totally unreasonable of them.

I am in the middle of writing a letter to the FOS about it .

Am I right in thinking that if the original shop direct account was never defaulted in 2009 it would still show on my credit file? Even though arrow took it over? ( arrow are only reporting from 2012 when the purchased the debt)

    Hi,

Anything to do with disputed default dates should be referred to the ICO (information commissionaires office) they should be able to deal with this for you :

PP the same to the FOS, it will cost them there refferal fee of £550
