These forums have pretty strict rules so I doubt many will offer up lender names, simply because it could be construed as advice.
Sounds a clique, but I'd suggest getting in touch with a broker and explaining your circumstances and what you need to achieve.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.

This will vary from applicant to applicant, underwriter to underwriter and whether or not lenders are busy. Which can vary depending on what they do with their rates and what the rest of the market does with theirs.
To give an example, I had a case with nationwide last year that went from Application to offer in 2 and a half days - the fastest I have ever seen. The next application I sent them took about 5 weeks, arguments, headaches, tears and me wanting to bang my head and theirs (mostly theirs) on a wall.
Its very difficult to generalise with lenders. Im sure brokers have their favourites based on past experience, relationships and the clients circumstances but im also sure they probably all differ.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Also worth pointing out that just because a lender was quick on a case last week does not mean they will be quick on one this week.
There is more than one big high street lender I could think off the top of my head that has very erratic service so could be quick, could be slow.I am a Mortgage Adviser

If speed is a priority then maybe speak to a broker that specialises in new build or repossessed properties where a 28 day turnaround is expected?
If you want to do this yourself then probably pluck for a bigger high street lender and hope for the best, but as has been said lender times really do vary depending on how they are coping and January is a busy time for house buying.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'd say on the whole, speed of offer is inversely proportional to the quality of the product/rate.

I'm unsure what you are looking to achieve from this thread?
You have a pretty specific set of circumstances for your situation (from other thread) for a tricky situation you are trying to broker yourself.
Had I commented on the other thread, I would have set appoint a broker; that would answer this question also.
Best of luckI am a Mortgage Broker
