Can any of you guys tell me what your standing charge is for your gas and electric.
I appreciate you are all on different ones but I need to know what your monthly charges are. If you can tell me separately for gas and electricity is be grateful.
Thank you

Around 20p/day for each with Scottish Power..
But...how is this helpful. By paying 20p/day it qualifies me for lower rates for usage.
You could pay 0p/day standing charges with Ebico but they have one of the....if not "the" highest rates for actual usage.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I am confused - why the question? Standing charges are a very small element of the total bill. If you are trying to decide how to choose a supplier then the only way is to enter your projected annual consumption, in kWhs, into a comparison site. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
