Maybe after drawing all that attention someone warned him off gently.0

Oh, the offline message has been updated. I noted this comment:
"We do apologise but we won't be able to satisfy demand for the vast majority of those that have already contacted us."
A new twist on the meaning of the term "liar loan"? The loan I offer to make available but which evaporates as soon as you ask about it?0 -

Also can be read as
"I didn't find enough suckers to hand over money so I could lend it out unsecured, to unknown people, to buy houses they probably shouldn't be able to afford".
I mean, I would like to buy this (*) :

If only someone would just lend me a 100% loan of £6800000 on an IO mortgage at 0.1% I could easily afford it. That is clearly the reason I can't afford to buy the house I deserve, interest rates are too high!
(*) Actually, I wouldn't really but it is close to the common.0 -

Fancy having to live so close to the neighbours, with so many overlooking your garden. Not to mention no privacy from the footpath. Yes, I can totally see why they are selling up.
I quite fancy this, though not quite enough sea views for me:

Might even be worth a 1% per annum, fixed for life, interest only mortgage....0 -

Don't worry; "The site will be live today, Wednesday 20th of January". Still a few hours left.:)0 -
The title of this thread is appropriate. Liar Loans Reborn. It's turning into a long labour, to be sure.0

This is what they are saying now:
Due to demand we are having a few issues with our new site at the moment. The site will be live today, Wednesday 20th of January.
We do apologise but we won't be able to satisfy demand for the vast majority of those that have already contacted us. We are very very sorry but if you haven't already emailed or called us, we won't be able to provide any assistance this time. We are working with others to try and increase capacity.
We've had over 4,000 people contact us in the first two days and register an interest with us. We are working through these and will contact all of these people within the next 72 hours.
I wonder if it's true or not.0 -
...I wonder if it's true or not.
Let me put it this way.
Mr Wingate's business involves "buying branded domain names and building businesses on them before bringing them to market". But I see no evidence that his business, GreyWing has ever bought a business to market.
I can see that Mr Wingate launched a payday loan business in December 2014 that lasted until December 2015. I can see that he has a couple of websites offering unsecured loans, but they have only been trading a few months, thus no numbers are available.0 -
It's starting to look like he hasn't been able to get it off the ground, as in hasn't got his capital in place.0

pah! details - need to focus on the bigger picture. Lets sell some loansLeft is never right but I always am.0
