Use one of the online benefit calculators.

You may get contribution based JSA if you have the relevant credits for the last two full tax years.

    Turn2us is usually popular.

Hours will be an important factor here. You say she is on NMW, working how many hours? 1? 16? 50?

    What age are you both?

Even if you don't get any actual payment you can get National Insurance credits if you sign on. You might also get some help looking for work but that's unlikely.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Lots of full time students also work . Especially when they have family to take care of rather than are dependent on their parents for support. Very few courses contact time is 35 hours a week .....or have any evening or weekend contact time. My uni employs students in various roles within the university as well as advertising external student friendly jobs. As you are unlikely to qualify for JSA as your wife works it may be an idea to look into this now to get some savings together for when you graduate and perhaps keep the job on once you graduate (possibly with increased hours) whilst you job hunt if you don't get any offers before you graduate.
