Does anyone know how to get one and whether they are unique - i.e. if i get one from a site and someone else has it will it work?

You can apply online for one, or by sending a text message.
To receive the code you are charged 35 pence.
Yes they are unique and can only be used once.
There are a limited number available each Wednesday.

NO ! You need to have an Orange network phone to get one.

The code gets texted to the phone - and 35p deducted from the Orange PAYG credit or charged to the Orange contract account.

If applying online you need to enter the phone number, obviously if texting for it Orange know your number.

You could nip to the Orange shop & buy a PAYG phone for this purpose.

They currently have a Alcatel (i think) for £9.99. Then, since you're not an Orange customer...you'd need a £10 top-up.

I have an orange sim which i just pop into an unlocked phone as and when i go to cinema... keep an eye out for free orange sims and just do what i do...

Cant u just get a friend who is on orange to text the number, then forward the message they receive to you?

Just thought I'd mention, you also get the orange wednesday offer if you have broadband with them, so I get a good PAYG deal with O2, and free calls + orange wednesdays with my broadband.

How do you get Orange Wednesday 241 cinema ticket code by having Orange broadband? Orange are my ISP but I cant find out how to get the deal, do they send you an email or something?

Read this page and it explains how to register your orange email address with your mobile phone to allow you to text for free cinema tickets the same way as orange mobile users. This can also be used for Freeserve and Wanadoo email addresses.
