CTC and DLA when child turns 16

Hello everyone, my daughter turns 16 in April and I receive CTC for her and her siblings I also get careers allowance and she gets DLA. Now I was warned she will have to claim PIP when she's 16 but I haven't heard anything from DLA regarding this... I'd it a completely new benefit... Will she have to be reassessed and all that.... It's been a 2 yeAr battle to get her the DLA and she's only had it 16 months. Is pip the same rate as DLA? What happens with that? Also CTC what do I do with that? She will obviously be continuing with education, what do I have to do about that? Kind regards Kay

CTC - you need to inform them before 31st August about education. You can call them from mid April.
What level of DLA does she currently receive?
Info on PIP here - https://www.gov.uk/pip/overview0 -
She gets low rate mobility and medium care0

DLA rules require the child to claim as an adult when they reach age 16. This used to mean new DLA forms and a new assessment but now because DLA is being replaced by PIP it will involve a claim for PIP from the 16th birthday. A new medical assessment will be required.0
