I'm moving into a property in South Belfast which has a gas cooker. I'm wondering where the best/cheapest place is to buy gas cylinders? Roughly how much should I be looking to pay?
Thanks in advance,
BDA

Based on what I used to pay, you can get a large one (19kg) refilled for about £30-40. (Think this is roughly what Bangor fuels used to charge).
I think to buy new you're looking at £60-70.
(I just sold an old, near empty 19kg propane cylinder for £10 - doing and getting it refilled might be an option).0 -
You can always pick up an empty gas cylinder at your local council dump for free & have it exchanged for a full one for about £300

Or ask on Freecycle / Freegle. I did that when I moved to my current house. Had an offer within a few hours from a very nice gent who also handed me the regulator for the bottle!!0

£22.50 for a cylinder of 'towngas' in Tyrone (with the empty). What about everyone else?0
