Transfer of equity fees

I'm wishing to transfer equity of mortgage to sole owner with borrowing to buy out my husband. There are fees for this of £150.00 for transfer and £150.00 for the extra borrowing. Is there any way to avoid these costs or have them reduced?

No, not at all. There is a bit of work involved and you are using 2 services. One for the transfer, and 2 for the additional borrowing. You will also have to pay solicitors fees

They don't sound a lot to me (I've seen higher), but maybe he can pay the fees
