Looking for a mortgage advisor near Walsall area

Hi,

Looking for some help and a recommendation for a mortgage advisor. Me and my wife are first time buyers and looking at properties in the 200k range. Our joint incomes combined come to around 60k/year. We have small amounts of debt on credit cards and a smallish (15k) deposit.

Just looking at what our options are? Neither of us are clued up at all about mortgages and the like so I want to find an advisor who knows what he's doing and will give us good advice and not just want to make as much money out of us as possible! Obviously we're looking to get the best rates possible and want someone who can help us make a good decision based on our circumstances.

We're based just outside of Walsall so looking for someone in this area or at least close by.

You shouldn't have too many problems getting a mortgage with your current situation (depending how much your debts are worth).

I've used Secure Mortgages Residential based in Aldridge (not far from you) and they were excellent. Me and some of my family members have used them before and got a great service and really good rates. I dealt with Alan there who did absolutely everything for me (including dealing with solicitors who were dragging their feet throughout the whole process!).

Thanks for the reply dusty, I gave them a call, spoke to Alan and he was very helpful indeed. We've had an offer accepted on a property now so going to use Secure Mortgages and let them take care of everything.
