Advice about CV

Hi there.I have question about my CV. Can I write in my CV that I have a certification of attendace (here web design course Adobe Photoshop?) Is this type of certification important for my employer? Thanks.

    It's as useful as saying you're an expert on Adobe in your CV, meaning it's the certificate is useless.
  • For a potential employer it's not a recognised qualification so you couldn't compete with someone who has done a BTEC or degree, for example, in the same subject based on that alone. It's worthless in that sense.

    However, if does show good attendance and it shows you probably have some knowledge on the subject as you completed a course on it and it would technically put you above someone who has no proof of any knowledge at all on it (again, based on that alone).

    If it's the only thing you've got based on that subject and it's part of the job you're applying for then it's worth putting on your CV. Same goes for if you have a gap as it shows at least you did something in that time.

    It's not a qualification so it's not important to an employer and if that subject is the main job then it's very likely it'll go to someone with a qualification/experience in it.
