Need an instant loan.

I get paid around £500-£550(still not sure of the tax i would pay so i rounded down) on Friday. The thing is the bank want me to pay £230 to clear off part of my overdraft tomorrow. I called and they said they would not move the payment date because of i have missed payments before and that if i did not make the payment by tomorrow they would cancel the overdraft meaning any money that would go into my account on Friday would be deducted. They also said that if i broke this final agreement i would have to pay the whole overdraft limit off in 28 days or i would have something that would stay on my credit file for 6 years.

Basically the gist of it is that there would be no way to pay off the remaining overdraft in 28 days if i missed tomorrows payment so is there any companies that would give me an instant loan that i could payback this Friday without charging me £29 per every £100 i borrowed?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Friends and family is most definately a no-go. The reference to savings is that i was living off them while i was unemployed.
  • Yes but the woman wasnt having it because of defaulted on previous agreements. I even said to her whats the difference of one day. I dont think the bank care one bit. The only thing i can do now is get an instant loan which would be through by tomorrow. Just trying to find out thats not charging £30 for every £100 i borrow-just for one day. Pretty extortionate.
  • I'm tempted to actually go into my local branch and say to them. I finish work at 2.30 though so if that doesnt work ive got less that 3 hours to get the money into my account. Is it normal to ask for a manager when calling them up?

I bet the branch will not be able to do anything - they will put you on the phone to the arrears/collections departments who makes the arrangments
