Is anyone finding with these comps (past hummingbird ones as well) that when you get up to around 200 entries, it gets harder to find a hummingbird? I imagine it will get harder still, or lots of people will end up with hundreds and hundreds of entries (?).
I'm also finding that most of the hummingbirds appear for major high street-types of companies, or deals that are being promoted on the site. Click on something more obscure - say, something under Training & Recruitment - and you won't find a hummingbird there. Does that chime with what others here are experiencing?0 -
I only have a few entries as im not finding the random ones when others have so its just hard for me anyway heh0

I think what brings the hummingbird out to play is time related. I use a technique that works nearly 100% of the time for this, and their previous comps. I use their offers sections, which at the moment are either headed January Spectacular or Hot Deals https://www.topcashback.co.uk/JanuarySales_Hub/Travel_Deals_Page/

I click on each company in turn. When the comp post shows at the bottom, if it doesn't immediately bring out the bird, I backspace to the offers page. I do this until the bird shows or I run out of offers. Only once, so far for this comp, have I had to go through them twice, and even then, the bird flew out quite quickly the second time around.
Once the bird flies out, I close the site and leave it a while. I don't know how long is needed, but I usually leave it for at least an hour. Then I start over, and always get another bird while clicking through their offers again.
Another tip: If I'm right and this is time related, then avoid starting out by getting the daily clue hummingbird first. I find an ordinary hummingbird first, and only then will I click on the one for that day's clue. Because in this way I get two entries when I start. Otherwise I think the daily one might prevent the time related one flying out for that session.
Hope that makes sense.

I don't bother with it much but I agree always look for a random before collecting the "clue"0 -

This worked better for me. Thank you so much! Found one so far on https://www.topcashback.co.uk/cathay_pacific/0 -
Blulu - those have been my own strategies - though I didn't know that if you weren't successful with the offers the first time around, it might work if you try them again. I've been leaving it every couple of hours myself. Not doing so well with collecting the icons, but the prize draw entries are adding up. Another thing I do is share to Facebook every time (and then make sure the posts only display for me, so that I'm not constantly spamming my friends), as once I've tweeted for the day, it won't let me do it a second time.0
