I tried capoeira once. Liked it, except the bloke running it was too much into "the cult" and I'd find his mates would randomly wander in with bongoes and we'd be expected to sit and sing along with all the Brazilian music. Weirdos. Then he suddenly cancelled everything as he needed a proper job and had got one 30 miles away.

Fun .... so long as you don't go to a group with nutter/cult weirdos who are living their dream of the lifestyle immersion ....and being all a bit 'macho' about it all.

He didn't really approve of my stance that I was "there because I wanted to be and liked it .... and I'd get up to speed with the amount of exercise and effort in my own way ....and I DON'T sing, I leave if you start that !!!!!!"
