This is my very first post so if it is wrong apologies and please move it!
Has anyone any advice please on the best way to sell specialist things like 78rpm records or 'niche market' books. Is it still Amazon and/or ebay? Thanks.

I don't know much about records myself, but my dad buys and sells a lot of rare northern soul vinyl on ebay without too many problems.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Yep eBay is probably the best place - be aware that 78s will need to be packaged VERY well as they're really brittle and break easily.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Hi keys - I just tried 'Googling' Vinyl Records and it came up with 1.7 million entries. Just the front page is FULL of specialist 'buy and sell' sites.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Thank you for your advice and for taking time to respond. I was 'down sized' in December and am still job hunting. I think I have possessions that could raise some money (I have never sold online - or offline for that matter) but suspect my things would only be of interest to a few (jazz 78s, 1950s jazz books, 1960s comics etc).
Hence was wondering if there were recommeded places that attracted collectors for as you say there are an overwhelming number of general sites out there. Maybe collectors comb everywhere.0
