Debt Payment

My debts have been passed onto a collection company , they keep asking for full payment . But they have offered 75% reduction for full settlement . I am not in a position to at present ,but I,m hoping for a compansation payment soon. Should i offer 50% ?

    Offer 40% and see if they accept.

    If you offer the maximum you can afford you will have nowhere to go if rejected.

    I have also been advised to ask for a sign copy of the loan . These can be lost with the debt being passed from pillor to post
