What a stupid question - Rose wine isn't 'pink', it's clear red! White wine is pale yellow; red wine is burgundy; and orange juice ain't orange, my dear, it's yellow.

Thanks though - will have a go!

I beg to differ. Isn't the colour orange named after the fruit? If so, by definition, pure orange juice must be orange. If I'm wrong on this.

"The colour orange occurs between red and yellow in the visible spectrum at a wavelength of about 585 – 620 nm, and has a hue of 30° in HSV colour space. The complementary colour of orange is azure, a slightly greenishblue. With pigments such as paints or inks, a mixture of the subtractive primary colours in the proportion of 75% yellow and 25% magenta :rotfl: produce the secondary colour orange. Orange pigments are largely in the ochre or cadmium families, and absorb mostly blue light."

So can you prove that orange juice isn't orange in colour?:D :D:D

Sorry, I'm having a sily afternoon. Pink is the answer for the purposes of the competition!

Anyway, have you seen how many Wine Comps there are today. First they were pushing Beta Glucan and just in case we get too healthy, it's being balanced by lots alcohol. Love it!!! Or maybe they don't want the natural blondes to live for another 200 years.
