Hi guys,
I'm a little confused on when I have to file for SA
I registered with HMRC in August 2015 and have been trading since then, unless I'm wrong I don't need to do anything until April? Or do I need to do something now?
It's a part-time business whilst I look for work.
Appreciate the help, thanks

When you registered with HMRC isn't relevant, it's when you commenced self employment that matters - what date did you start self employment?0

I started self employment in July 20150 -
Then you wouldn't normally be asked to complete a tax return until after April 2016 (for the 2015:16 tax year).
You will have until 31:01:2017 to submit that return.
If, for some reason, you have been asked to submit a return for 2014:15 then that needs to be submitted by 31:01:2016 and shouldn't just be ignored!0 -
