Hi everyone, I've just recently started looking for ways to make money online and I started with paid surveys. There seems to be so many different websites that promise £££ for surveys, they do feel kind of spammy, not sure. One of the results I found through google was surveyspy.net and it looked sort of legit so I registered with them.
It was pretty straight forward and I received emails from several companies inviting me for surveys. I've done a few (it does get boring after a while :rotfl:) and will see what happens. I'm waiting to collect enough reward points to get my first payout. Does anyone actually get payment? I'm a bit weary since I've never tried these before.
Has anyone else tried surveyspy.net? Are they legit or spammy like other sites out there? I'm quite happy with them so far but don't want to waste time (I've tried a few other before) if they're also scammers. Please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks! xxx

Hello! I'm a bit of a survey queen!
I have checked them out, they are linking to genuine companies that I use and have been paid by.
You could probably make yourself a little cashback by going direct to some of these websites via Maximiles, Topcashback or Quidco.
I've sent you a PM with the names of some genuine survey companies for you to googleThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Oh wow, thanks so much Katykciekr!
It's my first day here and I'm already rubbing elbows with royalty :rotfl:
Puts my mind at ease, their website looks quite nice and registration was easy, was hoping they're legit and not some scammers. I had a bad experience with cashback sites before (they didn't pay) and I found the whole process of registering over and over and jumping from link to link (and something about cookies ) a bit daunting. Guess I'm not that tech-savvy, I liked how surveyspy just registered me for all of those companies with just one form. Didn't see that feature on other pages I've tried, not sure if they have it.
Thanks again, I'll be sure to check out your message! So happy I've found this forum! xxx0 -
I wouldn't suggest using surveyspy to sign up, I would suggest going direct. They are obviously taking a nice cut of any surveys/sign up money.
Also, you may want to remove their link from your signature, as advertising is not allowed. As you've only wrote about them here so far it could like you are advertising your own companyNot that I'm saying you are!

Oh, sorry bout that, I'm quite new to this and they're the first one I've tried. I'll edit my signatureWhen you say they are taking a nice cut, does it mean that I will be paid less if I sign up through them? In the message you've sent me the links from your site have some kind of extra stuff attached to it, does it mean that I'll get less through those as well? Sorry for all the questions, it's just these things are a tad confusing.

Greetings Katy!
I am entirely new to the survey scene, and I stumbled across this thread, in which you offered to help out Julia who is also a newcomer rookie, I was wondering if you could PM me a list of the most reliable and highest rewarding survey sites out there, please!:p
Also, your figures as mentioned below your reply regarding what sort of finances you make solely online are absolutely amazing! I was also hoping you could possibly offer me some advice on how to get started on other sources of online income too:D0 -
Also, Julia, how are surveys/other online ventures coming along?:A0

Sorry for a late reply fitzcruddypatrick, took a break to seem my parents in Spain
I haven't devoted that much time to surveys recently, but I've started with SurveySpy.net and they were enough for me. I've registered with 4 survey sites through them and the email invitations from those companies were more than enought to keep me busy. I've got a good amout collected in them, most in Toluna I believe, but haven't reached a pay-out threashold in any of them yet. Guess need to get back into it to finally get paid
How's it going for you since you started out?0
