1/2 price computer accessories at Tesco

Tesco in Blackpool had a few reductions on computer accessories, but probably in a few stores as they had proper yellow reduction labels on the shelves.

Trust branded:

Optical cordless mouse £17.42 down to £8.71 - rechargable with cradle

Cordless ball couse £8.98 down to £4.49 - not rechargable, but a bargain at that price

They also had cordless mouse and keyboard sets 1/2 price (can't remember what the price was though, but very cheap.

There were some other bits and bobs like 1/2 price Epson printer cartridges and 1/2 price kodak paper

The Tesco cordless keyboard and mouse is a Trust one and if you find them at half price, buy it, normally about £18 and good to use.

I don't recommend cordless keyboards unless you don't use the computer very much - battery life isn't usually very long.. mice usually perform better.

The batteries in my Logitech last for months, on the other hand the mouse would only last a couple of days without charging, maybe it's your model?

Mice are notorious, tried Chic, Kensington and Logitech, all abysmal
Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer lasts about 8 months on a pair of AA's, simply brilliant.

Strangely, my experience of my wireless Trust keyboard and mouse is the exact opposite., Keyboard still using the same batteries after 3 years, whilst the mouse batteries would give up after 6 weeks! Chucked the mouse away in the end!

I got the Trust rechargeable cordless mouse from Tesco a while ago and am really pleased with it. The batteries last about a weeks heavy use without being charged, but I just put it back in the cradle to charge overnight every couple of days.

Tesco Lee Mill in Plymouth not got any offers on as far as I could see. Went there tonight after a USB mouse for my laptop. Bleh.:(

I have a typhoon cordless keyboard and mouse set. Batteries last MONTHS! I've had it about 14 months, changed batteries in keyboard twice since then (daily use for hours on end) and mouse I rarely change batteries. They came with rechargeables and a recharge USB lead... but I usually charge in a battery charger. :)
