Advice from the culinary geniuses on the thread please.

I've got some chicken gougons - however you spell it - to try tonight - any suggestions as to how I can make them exciting.
I know the obvious thing would be fjahitas but there are only 2 of us and the wrap packs tend to come in packs of 6 or 8 which is too much for us to use up.

You could use pita bread instead with salad.

The multibuy is ending today on these breakfast bars, 2 for £3.00 offer.
I am just a bit wary of an update around 9.00’ ish, and also that the products might just go to roll back. If not marked as 2 for £3.00 still on SEL, worthwhile getting a couple of boxes price-checked.

Oats So Simple Morning Bars – Fruit Muesli, Golden Syrup and Raspberry & Pomegranite should compare A. £4.38 v £3.00 in Sainsbobs.

Quaker Crunchy Bars – Golden Syrup and Maple & Pecan should compare £4.38 v £3.00 in Morries.

    Weetabix Ready Brek – Original only 450g – should compare £3.96 v £2.00 Sainsbobs.

    Weetabix original 8 pack - £3.94 v £2.00 Sainsbobs.

    Weetabix Chocolate 6 pack - £3.94 v £2.00 Sainsbobs.

    2x ASDA Butcher's Selection 8 Cumberland Pork Sausages (454G) £2.36 £2.00

    A v S womble from yesterday

I don't know how asda can say these are on rollback when they are now £1.50

Or is it the difference in the barcodes and description

I was disappointed Savvy Sal, as I expected the sausages to compare at £1.00 still. One was for my neighbour.

I freeze the wraps as ds3 and oh don't like them, so get big packs when on offer and divide them down into how many we use at one time. Ds2 loves them with any left over meat.

Morning all hope everyone is well. Its blowing a hoolie here.
Hope bubbs family get some positive news xx

I have a day of today. So stables to clean, hay to move, banking to do, birthday pressies to buy for oh, food shopping to do, house to clean, dresses to find and going to look at a land rover as old one playing up, think its easier to go to work.:rotfl::rotfl:

In 1986 I was given an air plant as a Christmas present. You know the ones that are glued to a sea shell.
I don't have house plants & treated it very casually :o:o:o
Occasionally running it under the cold tap to water it.

As you can see I still have said plant - long ago it out grew the shell & has multiplied & multiplied. I give it's babies away :)

Every year it has a flower that lasts 24 hours - but this year it had 3 flowers :D

I would dearly love to smuggle it back to the US & set it free :)

But not bad for 30 years of tough love :A

That is fantastic! I was given an air plant for Christmas a few years back. Unfortunately it was as good as dead when I got it, I found out later it had been bought and wrapped two months before Christmas, so it had been starved :( It was the kids that got it for me, so I put it up high telling them that was what you were meant to do and gradually put it out of sight before I could get rid of it

I may well get myself a new one soon, love those plants :D

I have been known to add them to a pasta dish, came out quite well and the sauce added flavour, so you could put them with a strong flavoured sauce.
