There have been some price increases in M! The Snickers 6 ice cream have gone from £1 to £1.50 (the Mars have probably done likewise - I have no stock, and obviously no SELs, in either store today). The Cornetto 4 pack have gone from £1 to £1.97, but I suspect the five pack in that one M store are probably still £1 (I've seen them at nothing else, even when the 4 pack have gone to full price and back down again) but the 5 pack (which are available) are most unlikely to compare on the APG I feel!

The Birds Eye Crispy Bites that I frowned about going from £2 to 2 for £4, have now increased in price for two on the price 'crunch' that has happened to them, going from Any 2 for £4 to £2.25 each! So, two will now cost you 50p more in total than before. Was £2.99 for one before - went up to that price from straight £2 in order to go onto 2 for £4!

It's this - what some may call - 'loophole' under which they can refer to the individual price even if an mbuy was on them that... made no saving compared to a previous individual price that was on them! And were the Daz Regular powder really on £9 for that long enough to 'establish' them as being that £9 price?

The Yazoo smoothies have gone from £1 to £2. Probably in time for a £2 and 2 for £2 offer on them next week or the week after!:rotfl: You watch me - we shall see!

The Tandoori Marinade already went up from 40p to 86p before.

The Balineen frozen sausages have gone up from £1 to £1.53! The Harry Ramsden Curry Mix (packet) has gone down from 48p to 43p. Obviously too high before:rotfl: (shouldn't have been on my list! Probably still shouldn't be on there as it's only 48g:rotfl::rotfl:).

The Thornton's Classic Fairground Favourites (196g) (£5 in Ocado:eek:) have gone up from £2 to £2.50 in M. My M SEL said £5 but I did not trust that:rotfl:. Still no good, price increase! I suspect that may mean some of the others will be off too, even though I do not have them in either of my stores. I reckon the 50p Thorntons will still be 50p - and would still be showing £1.50 in that other store:rotfl:. They were RTC. I'm having a guess there, hopefully a good one! (Anyway, I have to guess at prices of items, such as Muller Bliss yogurts, even when they are in my stores and show prices that they are not:rotfl::rotfl:.)

I bet, come to think of it, there's this aspect of the muggles who pick up at high price (or seemingly high price) being surprised at the till when they go through at the £1 that they were all along and think very positively of M for that! For me, it's different:rotfl::p! I'm aware of lower price that they were before - seeing full price SEL, wondering if they are still in fact the offer price, then finding out apparently they are and not being surprised or thinking anything positive of that as that is just the price that I expect! They've made no change after all - they have not gone down further in price - they are merely the same as last week (apparently) - but, if they were really back to full price, that's when I think of them negatively! So, nothing positive for me - totally neutral (after the usual trying to work out the prices of at least some items every time!) - but positive feeling for the muggles, sees £2.68, but they are really (as known to me) £1, they get charged £1 and feel positively about it!:(:rotfl:

I bet their shopping, overall, is actually costing them more, with the price "crunch" (on which some items are now more expensive than they were some time before).

Just for clarification, the vast majority of the items above, btw, are not price crunch items and are not being claimed to be by M - they are just items on which prices have increased whilst other items' prices are being "crunched" - some of which are cheaper than before, some of which are not nearly as cheap as some competitor already is or has been recently, and some of which, whilst they have gone down from immediate previous individual price, work out quite a lot more expensive than some previous offer (in some cases double the price or more).

I just like to give a rounded view*:rotfl::D - of, what appears to me to be, the full truth:rotfl::rotfl:.

*It's fair, because I am acknowledging some of what M are displaying and the extent to which it is true (...but also the extent to which, it may be argued, it is not disclosing - neither does it have to - that, in some ways, it works out more expensive and is based on individual previous prices when some people might have bought the immediate previous mbuy and paid less than the cost it now is under the "reduction").
