Still £1 for a further week in M - see what I mean? They change them to full price SELs in the main aisles in M for me, even though the offer is still on. (Perhaps they were taking it off but M then decided to extend the offer by about a week?) The only 'clue' for me that these were still £1 was a lot of stock still on the aisle end in one of my stores but no price showing there at all for any version of these yogurts.
Muller Bliss Corner Whipped Greek Style Yogurt - Raspberry (4x110g)
[Strike]£2.67[/Strike] £1.00 22.7p / 100g Valid until 07/02/2016
£2.69 any 2 for £4.00
£2.40 any 2 for £4.00
I've no idea what the APG will make of this - may get M full price if that's what's showing on the main aisle stock in their M stores. Or, maybe, M returning at full price even when it is on offer is a rarity that only happened on one or so item in the past and isn't actually a risk. Their M stores may be different to mine.
From my two stores today, although one had only the Lemon showing with £1 (and that did have an expiry 7th February SEL), I would have thought they might be full price. Then again, I've had full price showing in both on the Nestle desserts for several weeks - every week I see full price but then just walk round the end of the aisle and they are clearly £1 there! These have been comparing against £1 on the APG but not sure about after one of my stores went to £2 SEL on main aisle stock midway through the offer still being on! The APG people could well have 'no common price' if half their stores are showing £2 and half £1 and therefore taking the lowest price they see. It only needs one more of their stores to put the SEL to say £2 however and the whole thing might fail!
I think this might be another decoy by M for its shoppers instore:rotfl:. Trying to get people to pick up some nearby item, in the main aisle, perhaps at £1.33 as they think the Nestle desserts are £2. Whilst, at the same time, getting people to buy the Nestle desserts at £1 on the aisle end as they think they look good, get attracted by that and end up impulse-buying and spending more than they intended!
And they want them to buy those more expensive chocolate biscuits packets that are now at eye-level!:rotfl:
Stores have to show a price for each item (as long as it's covered by pricing regulations) that is in stock in the individual store, but there is nothing stopping them showing a higher price than is in fact the price that applies!
The best (worst!) one for me is the air fresheners/candles. Virtually none of the items that are on offer are showing that for me in one store! Only the other one is telling me they are clearly on offer. Meanwhile, I have the Glade candles on one part of the shelf, showing £5, move along to the next shelf and they are £2! They are really inconsistent, showing two labels, both with the exact same item, and different prices on each. Well, is it one or is it the other? Fortunately, I 'know' (I think:rotfl:) that they are £2! (Were 3 for £5 some time before:rotfl:.)0 -
