It sure is, thankyou x
If he has chemo , they have already told him he would have to go to a city which s 40-50 mile round trip
The very sad part of this is, his dad dies of the same less than 12 months ago, so his mum is going through it again:(:(
So sorry to hear this.
It may be possible for the chemo to be administered locally under instruction from the specialist team. Had to drop in when I read Bubbs' news, so sorry to hear about your BiL. Reminds me so much of Mr 3Dogs' bowel/liver cancer being found due to appendicitis. The body has a way of bringing these things to our immediate attention ...... but sometimes, too latequeen_of_cheap wrote: »Sorry bubbs
I'll be thinking of you all on Wednesday
If only combined Elite power of thought worked on cancer... :A
Xx
Oh if only QoC, but what the power of the ELITE does do is help people get through these things. I will NEVER forget the support and feelings of love I got from the Elite, as I detailed our journey from his diagnosis and prognosis to the end, all in just over 4 months. Throughout it all, I felt the Elite presence behind me, with me :AMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Just popped in to catch up. Helen, so pleased your son is OK.
Targeted shop, mince worked, toothbrush was reduced in between ordering and paying. (If mine was a shop with the new system, it would have worked in my favour!)
7 items (6 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Tesco
2x ASDA Butcher's Selection British Lean Turkey Mince (500G) £7.00 £4.90
1x Colgate ProClinical C250 Electric Toothbrush (EACH) £18.50 £17.50
0.17x ASDA Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (PER KG) £0.12 £0.11
Comparison total (compared products only) £26.81 £23.70
+£3.11 cheaper
APG over a fiver. Fillers removed. HD.
So, Turkey Mince still working (as of Sunday) but T's price has gone up (was 2 for £4) so not as good as before, but still working. I assume M is N/A?0 -

2x McVitie's Digestives Milk Chocolate Jumbo Pack (500G) £3.00 £2.28
Sada are 2 for £3.00..Little more of a saving against Ts if you like your chocky bisquits
I would suggest SP Milk Chocolate Digestives as they compare against T. They are still cheaper than McVities, even against offer prices for that, and they (SP) are an adequate replacement for me! I think the only difference I can spot is that the McVities ones have "McVities" engraved into them:rotfl:. As far as I can see, SP are fine: they are, and function as, milk chocolate digestives all the same and probably made in the same factory!
M were £1 on this 500g McVities pack a few months ago - before they went up to high individual price and 2 for £3! Even against T at £1.14 is not quite as good as M's straight offer price was (bought in M - I did not know if Avs M would have worked and did not want to risk it). Even £1 for 500g (from M) was technically worse than the SP price by weight though. I moved back to SP when I did an Avs T comp. once, although I try to avoid buying them very often on T comps. as you can otherwise spend a fortune on these things! Chocolate - best bought as rarely as possible in my opinion:money:as it functions more as a tempter that gets people impulse-buying and spending money! So, as long as you are getting a pack of SP on an Avs T comp. a maximum of once every four months and certainly not every Avs T shop that you do, then you should be fine! They should of course never be put onto any comp. other than vs T as they do not work out as well on any of the others!0 -

:TShould be Morries and not T (except Northern Ireland that has to have slightly 'worse' comp.). This will work all today (assuming A's price has not changed) - vs M!
I think there may have been information (or misinformation?) that it stopped comparing early last week vs M but it obviously went back to comparing again (or continued to compare) on the second update of the week.0
