Does anyone know what this is about.

    Wet Sunday afternoon so
OH is on the sofa, listening to his music, eating biscuits, downloading magazines, sorting photos out etc - usual stuff.
I keep myself busy so I am not moping about, sort a bit of domestic admin out, sort out some paperwork for recycling, file away some receipts, update my charts and then when all of that was done I went to do some competitions on facebook etc
    All peace and harmony
Then OH starts dinner and straight off he starts making snide sarcastic comments eg enjoying yourself on the computer are you, glad someone can mess about on the computer while others are workin in the kitchen etc
So I go and see what he wants doing or if I can help - nothing, its all cooking nicely and anyway it's just sausages so nothing complicated and cordon Bleu. Our kitchen is a long galley kitchen so its difficult for 2 people to work at once even if there was something I can do other than clear up after OH and wash up - easier to do this afterwards.
OH can't tell me exactly what he wanted doing as its nothing - nothing actually wanted doing and finds it amusing that I am now fuming and annoyed with him.
He says its funny how I've gone up like a pop bottle.
When I am cooking no one else is allowed in the kitchen for any reason and I never ask for anyone help, I clear as I go along. If everyone else is busy - doing whatever I just let them get on with it.
So I've no idea why Oh needs to start a fight for no reason and what sort of amusement he gets out of making me cross
Afterwards He then tries to make up so gets told to go away in unlady like terms

I know the answer is for me to do all of the cooking but OH hates anything I cook so mostly I do 2 days and he does 5 so yes I could do more but he does meat and 2 veg meals and grudgingly he lets me do
pasta bakes, Spanish chicken casseroles, salads etc

Well I was feeling a lot better but now I am still fuming and annoyed with him

    Rant over

You are having a day of it mhoc:o

I know you were upset earlier about Sir Terry....can you remember his Janet and john stories....they were so funny. We all used to listen to them on a morning while doing the school run. Thankfully DS and DD never got the double entendres:rotfl:

It was nice bubbs but pleased I put loads of spices in to bump up the flavour:)

Think I'll do a Thai curry later in the week and by then I might be able to get the rest in the freezer:)

Looks like my 1p1nt receipts have been processed so panic over. I have to say their support team are ace and must be busy working today too.

Now just have to get through C4rling lager and cider and still shed loads of St3lla Cidre - not that I am being ungrateful but it is going to be yonks before I can justify buying any of my favourite St3lla :(.

    Thanks CoT :)

  • I'd have been quite happy - Nestle chocolate is rather nice! Who needs a wafer in there, anyway?

But having read the article, I've half a mind to write to the Mail and tell them that as publishers of newspapers they do carry some responsibility for the English language and that it is 'bored with' and not 'bored of.'

And well done on your dry January xx

I had an email from a drinks manufacturer declaring it a Dry Ginuary. Honestly!

Anyway, you succeeded. Well done. What happens now? Does this mean we can expect a wet February? (hic) :)

To be honest Seren it's been a breeze apart from this weekend......but I'll just keep going on through February.....however....

I've read a cracking review of this wine today...a Sainsburys Rose Cava for £5.50....might be nice for Valentines Day

I think you should get Mr Mhoc a bottle mhoc:D
