It rained last night. A lot

But today is dry and sunny and there is not a cloud to be seen :D

    Where is scamps anyway?

Thanks that's good to hear, she got there about 7pm so hopefully would have been indoors.

Don't know where scamps is he still hasn't popped in. Hope he is ok.

Good evening, very interesting ladyshopper, I think I need to read up on this, it's a standing joke that I have a memory like a sieve, permanently have a notebook by me, but now have had 16 general anesthetics so not surprising.:)

Hi Izzy, think I'm up to 18 or 19 now, have lost count!

Look up Post Operative Cognitive Dysfunction (POCD). Most of the stuff talks about this in conjunction with over 60's, but its definitely a thing. Like you I've been joking about it, but being back at work has made me realise that actually its not funny. :o

Dad was bright as the Dr has recommended he would be better at home :D

Say hello to my DD1 for me. :D

It's lovely to hear your dad is bright and really pleased for him that home has been mentioned. :T

Not so good for your mum this weather has certainly given everything a battering. Hope it's fixed soon so as one less worry. :)

Shout if you happen to see any reasonable bed shops there please Snap, we are totally stuck as to where to go bed hunting, prefer independent shops but not many around now :(

    Good luck with WW :)
Thought it was similar to SW these days and on SW bacon is a freebie I think. I'm sure tweets or other SW ppl will correct me.
Must find out how to get free WW sessions

Really? Is there £1 CB on that?

Otherwise, why would I buy an 8 pack now at £1 when a 24 pack less than a couple of months ago was 24p? (And still got plenty of them left, and in date, to last!)

Seems... a little steep! A third of the amount for over 4 times the cost! In other words, over twelve times the cost! In fact, twelve and a half:eek: times the cost!:eek::eek:_pale_ Unless there is any CB offer on them that makes them no more than 8p cost.

    It's those hotdeals people again!:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks bubbs, I always like to know what the 'other side' is up to.

Please can you share where we can buy the Elite time machine from? :D Because unless we can get one, we can unfortunately only mourn not getting even bigger stashes at the previous cheaper price (and larger pack/item sizes) :p

The direct price increases are more obvious but as you have observed, downsizing pack sizes (Apples) and items (Walnut Whips) are but two examples of price increases that may be being hidden in the allegedly low inflation environment we are in (I know, the official figures suggest inflation is low but given some of the above and price hikes on some utilities including Virgin, you wonder what the true picture is - okay, petrol is cheaper and 4 pints of milk for 89p to be welcomed, but ither items have made up for it).
