I was charged with taking a leg of lamb out of the oven a couple weeks ago. I forgotI forgot to switch the oven off or take it out. The menfolk were fishing and I got caught up in other stuff. They ended up grouped around the cooker just peering at it and my houseguest said 'it looks like a burnt welly'
to be fair it did. The dog was happy though
