Can't face going out and meeting the CBB fans coming in the opposite direction!

On the subject of fish, I once had 3 fish in a tank and came home one day to find one gone. I blamed the cat, and told her off. A few weeks later another one was missing. The cat got no tuna treat that friday night. Many months later, when I was moving house, we moved the sideboard where the tank was situated and found the remains of both fish behind it. They had jumped out of the tank, and the poor cat was innocent.
I always blame the cat:D'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Quite cheap really, still 7.5 million left...
I rather like this game.
Ha! Sorted mine. I will simply buy sterling. End of. :rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Not only is the Snacksters Quarter Pounder N/A but, also, vs M:
2x Schwartz Creamy Pepper Sauce Mix (25G) £1.00 N/A
Really?
Schwartz Creamy Pepper Sauce Mix (25g)
89p any 2 for £1.00
£3.56 / £2.00 / 100g
£1.00 any 2 for £1.00
So, once again, it doesn't seem they can be 10% cheaper even if you shopped for these items correctly.0 -

First week back at work completed. Absolutely exhausted by it, but no leakage issues so thats positive. Has got me more worried about my memory though, I knew it was bad since the ops and keep joking that the anaesthetic has killed it off, but being back, even though all I've really done is emails and catching up has highlighted its a problem.
Spoke to GP today as was there for something else. Told her about some research I did last night where I read several journal articles about a proven link between anaesthetic and memory loss. She admitted she doesn't know anything about it but is going to look into it and ring me when she has. I'm so lucky with her, she is great.
Looking forward to lying in tomorrow, been a shock to the system having to actually get out of bed in the morning this week! :rotfl:
Good evening, very interesting ladyshopper, I think I need to read up on this, it's a standing joke that I have a memory like a sieve, permanently have a notebook by me, but now have had 16 general anesthetics so not surprising.:)The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -
Well, I suppose it works both ways:rotfl:.
I'm glad this was N/A vs M on that shop with the glitched cheese:
3x Anchor Butter (500G) £6.00 N/A
This is one and the same is it not?
Anchor Spreadable (500g)
£3.24 64.8p / 100g
[Strike]£3.25[/Strike]
£2.00
£3.25 any 2 for £5.00
[Strike]£3.25[/Strike]
£3.00
£3.25
£3.25
£3.25
Indeed, not even comparing against T or W either:rotfl: (though we will not like that when they go on better offer there at some future point). Only comparing against S - £6 vs £9.75!
So, it seems the comp. that results in the voucher is not even remotely accurate!0 -
