The M list has its quirks - and biases. It's biased towards items getting onto the 'buy in M' part of the list when they are potential TBG (Tvs M) items, even though I wouldn't buy at the M price, when the item wouldn't have made it to the list at all had no comparison from T been possible. In other words, item at that price is only available in M (not available in A or T) tends not to make the list, but item available in T and M (obviously not A otherwise it would be Avs M list;)) is tending to make it to the list (when T is currently higher shelf price than M).

Just beware of those high M 'offer' prices that are cheaper than T's shelf price as wouldn't want to match T to that price and thus be paying them in effect same as the M price. If we wouldn't buy at the M price, then we should not be buying in T either (unless Sains is way way cheaper, which it won't be (and we're doing Tvs S comp.) - it won't be A being cheaper as, if it was available in A and A cheaper but not by 10% (compared to M), it would then be Avs M and not TBG and, if A was way way cheaper, it would either be buy in A straight (without APG or on a comparison against somewhere that is N/A) or except it would be potential Tvs A and not Tvs M - so it would be buy in T after all (but against A) but why buy at A prices in T, with extra fillers, instead of just buying in A straight?).

I knew what I was getting at, sort of:rotfl:. I'm trying to say "unless we're doing a comp. against somewhere else rather than M" (and assuming that the price of the non-M competitor of T is anywhere decent, which, given the glitches we get elsewhere than T, doesn't seem likely to be the case!:D).

I had a problem with scanning yesterday - as the machine asked for scan other barcode. I then got into the loop of scanning anything that would scan and, in the end, it scanned the 'wrong' barcode (the one we all used to scan before) and took the voucher amount off the bill as a manuf's coupon. Then wanted SA approval:( - but, anyway, the SA put their code in and voucher safely deposited into the machine.

So, after a run where they all scanned voucher and receipt fine, it seems it's now back to not doing so on some occasions:(.

Oh No! The same thing happened to me today at SS and I was hoping it was just a one off dodgy barcode not printing properly or the SS machine I was on :(

Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well as not read back yet.

    Can anyone help please ?
My car tax is paid monthly and I'm planning to sorn my old car in Feb and get a newer one so I have cancelled the dd for 1st Feb so they don't take the money. On Sunday I will take it off the road and then sorn it.
However just had email from car tax stating that my bank has informed them I have cancelled my dd so I must either sorn immediately or tax the vehicle. I thought my Jan 4th payment was for the month of January. Does anyone know how this works please. Tia xx

    sorry for delay...
its a standard email generated when they receive notification the dd is cancelled.....you are covered until your last payment is used up....in your case I think end of month...then sorn vehicle with V5 reference no. hth x
